How CamoVets Started
CamoVets began long before the trucks, trailers, and uniforms.
In his 20s, founder Jim Marchioni was already the neighbor people called when something needed doing—washing windows, clearing gutters, taking care of homes up and down the street.
Jim went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry, completing tours in Panama, Honduras, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. After the military, he managed operations in the oil fields of Texas, where he learned how to coordinate people, equipment, and tight timelines with zero room for shortcuts.
When it was time to come home to New Jersey and build something of his own, Jim blended:
Together with his wife, Giuliana, Jim set out to create more than a service company. They wanted a place where veterans could continue to serve, build careers, and stay rooted in the community—while delivering the kind of experience they’d want for their own home.
